Alex,

When backing stuff up, I usually use an internal hard drive and travel drives. I find that both cover all of my needs. Does that help?

I couldn't agree with you more. My computer recently crashed and suddenly I found myself bereft of all my database, photos, etc. I thought these were all back up with Carbonite - they weren't! I would appreciate any advice in respect of an offline backup system. Are these best or, as you say, hard disks in storage? I would welcome everyone thoughts.

After my hard restore incident, its nice to know that I can just set it up, forget it , and it backs up daily.
